Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the housekeeping staff and ensure that our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the housekeeping team, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supervise Housekeeping Staff: Supervise and direct the housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations.
2. Maintain Cleanliness Standards: Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean, tidy, and meet the required standards.
3. Inspect Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure that cleanliness and safety standards are met.
4. Manage Supplies: Order and manage housekeeping supplies, including cleaning products, linens, and equipment.
5. Provide Customer Service: Respond to customer complaints and concerns, and provide excellent customer service.
6. Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of cleaning schedules, inventory, and staff performance.
Requirements
1. Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in housekeeping or a related field.
2. Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
4. Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and lead a team of housekeeping staff.
5. Physical Ability: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and move quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Certification: Certification in housekeeping or a related field is an asset.
2. Training: Training in customer service, leadership, or management is an asset.
3. Experience with Cleaning Equipment: Experience with cleaning equipment and supplies.
