1. Assembly & Fitting of Components:
Assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components as per engineering drawings.
Perform drilling, tapping, grinding, and welding as required for fitting.
Ensure proper alignment, bolting, and securing of components to maintain structural integrity.
2. Reading & Interpreting Technical Drawings:
Read and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Follow standard assembly procedures to achieve accurate and efficient assembly.
3. Quality Inspection & Testing:
Conduct functional tests on assembled units to check for defects and ensure proper operation.
Use measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify accuracy and alignment.
Identify and rectify assembly defects to maintain quality standards.
4. Machine & Tool Handling:
Operate power tools, hand tools, and precision instruments for assembly.
Ensure proper maintenance and safe usage of tools and equipment.
5. Troubleshooting & Rectification:
Identify and fix assembly errors, misalignments, and operational defects.
Work with engineers and supervisors to resolve complex fitting issues.
6. Safety & Compliance:
Follow all workplace safety guidelines and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Ensure adherence to ISO, ASME, OSHA, and other industry standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workshop and assembly area.
