Act as a primary liaison with DGFT, Customs, Shipping Lines, Port Authorities, and Export Promotion Councils (EEPC, FIEO, etc.).
Oversee and ensure compliance with export-import regulations, documentation, and licensing requirements.
Facilitate smooth clearance of consignments, resolve queries, and manage inspections with relevant authorities.
Assist in obtaining export incentives, subsidies, and certifications under government schemes.
Maintain strong working relationships with banks, freight forwarders, and export promotion bodies.
Guide the management team on changes in trade policies, tariffs, and compliance updates.
Support in developing strategies to expand international markets through networking and official channels.
Retired/experienced professional from DGFT, Customs, EPCs, or corporate export departments preferred.
Minimum 15–20 years of experience in export-import operations, liaisoning, and government relations.
In-depth knowledge of EXIM Policy, Customs Act, Shipping/Logistics procedures, and international trade documentation.
Strong network within relevant authorities, export councils, and trade associations.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
