Job Title: CNC & VMC Setter cum Programmer
Location: Kallapalayam, Coimbatore
Department: Production / Machining
Reports To: Production Manager / Plant Head

Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate CNC and VMC machines as per job specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining symbols.
• Prepare and edit CNC programs in Fanuc controller
• Select and install appropriate tools, jigs, and fixtures.
• Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure quality throughout production.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and ensure preventive maintenance is followed.
• Collaborate with QA team for in-process and final inspection.
• Ensure production targets and timelines are met.

Requirements:
• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in CNC & VMC setting and programming.
• Proficient in G-code/M-code programming and offset adjustments.
• Experience with tool selection and cutting parameter optimization.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Desirable Skills:
• Experience in VMC or turning centers.
• Familiarity with Both is is a plus.
• Understanding of ISO/TS quality standards..
