We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and revising technical drawings, mechanical designs, and specifications using AutoCAD and other relevant software. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, design engineers, and production teams to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely design execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and designs using AutoCAD.

• Interpret and analyze engineering sketches, specifications, and technical drawings.

• Develop layouts, assembly drawings, part lists, and bill of materials (BOM).

• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure design feasibility and adherence to standards.

• Revise drawings based on feedback, design changes, or client requirements.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, ISO/ASME codes, and company protocols.

• Coordinate with manufacturing and production departments to ensure drawings translate into practical applications.

• Maintain and manage drawing databases and version control systems.

• Conduct basic calculations and simulations to support design decisions.

• Participate in product development, prototyping, and process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical design using AutoCAD.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical components, fabrication methods, and engineering principles.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); knowledge of SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar software is a plus.

• Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance analysis, and technical documentation.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
