Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Fitting / Valves Assembly Technician to join our production team in Taloja. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in assembling industrial valves, fittings, or mechanical components. This role is essential to ensure the reliable assembly and functionality of valves used in various industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assemble valves and fittings as per engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.
· Select, measure, and prepare components for assembly.
· Use hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches to assemble and tighten components accurately.
· Inspect and test assembled valves for leaks, pressure performance, and operational functionality.
· Identify and replace defective or worn parts.
· Maintain proper documentation of work completed and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
· Work closely with the Quality Control team to ensure compliance with product specifications.
· Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the assembly area.
· Adhere to all safety regulations and use appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
· ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Mechanical, or relevant trade.
· 1 to 3 years of experience in valve assembly, mechanical fitting, or related work in a manufacturing environment.
· Ability to read mechanical drawings and follow assembly instructions.
· Basic understanding of hydraulic or pneumatic systems is an advantage.
· Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience working with industrial valves (gate, globe, check, ball, etc.).
· Familiarity with pressure testing and leak testing equipment.
· Basic knowledge of ISO or industry quality standards.
Work Environment:
· Factory/assembly line setting with exposure to tools, mechanical parts, and lubricants.
· Standing for long hours and occasional lifting of medium-weight components.
· Use of safety gear such as gloves, safety shoes, and eye protection is required.
