Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and proactive Station Operator for Battery Swapping to join our team. The operator will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the battery swapping station, ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely exchange of batteries for electric vehicles. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, safety-conscious, and capable of maintaining the station's equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing end-to-end battery swapping task.
Make sure to check every user makes payments after successful swaps. Try to avoid cash transactions.
Manage and operate the battery swapping station, ensuring safe and efficient battery exchanges for electric vehicles.
Perform battery swaps for customers, ensuring proper handling, charging, and storage of batteries.
Monitor the battery inventory to ensure an adequate supply of fully charged and available batteries for swapping.
Inspect batteries for damage, wear, or malfunction and report any issues to maintenance teams for repairs or replacements.
Maintain station cleanliness, organization, and safety, adhering to company standards and procedures.
Communicate with drivers to guide them through the swapping process and address any customer inquiries.
Ensure the proper storage, charging, and maintenance of batteries according to industry standards and safety guidelines.
Operate and monitor automated or manual battery swapping systems, ensuring they function optimally.
Proper training is given to the candidates at office for 1 week.
Working hours: 12 hours (Rotational shifts) & OT will be provided based on the business requirement and the shift extension.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical or mechanical systems is a plus.
Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to handle and transport heavy or bulky batteries safely.
Comfortable working in an outdoor or semi-outdoor environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the station's operating hours.
Work Environment:
Battery swapping station in an industrial or commercial setting.
Exposure to vehicle fumes, battery charging systems, and other electrical equipment.
Adherence to safety protocols, including the use of protective gear.
