Key Responsibilities
Material Handling: Load and unload paper, ink, and other supplies onto printing presses or storage areas as directed by supervisors.
Equipment Cleaning: Assist in cleaning printing presses, tools, and work areas to ensure machines operate smoothly and the workplace remains tidy.
Production Support: Help senior operators by feeding paper into machines, stacking printed materials, or assisting with basic finishing tasks (e.g., folding, cutting, or packing).
Waste Management: Remove waste materials (e.g., scrap paper, used ink containers) and dispose of them according to company guidelines.
Inventory Assistance: Support in organizing and counting stock of printing supplies under supervision.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Minimum 8th standard pass; 10th standard or equivalent preferred but not mandatory.
Experience: No prior experience required; candidates with 6–12 months of experience in a printing, manufacturing, or similar labour-intensive role are preferred.
Soft Skills: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to follow instructions carefully.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 20–25 kg, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks in a noisy environment with exposure to ink and chemicals.
