Key Responsibilities
Interpreting Plans: Analyze blueprints, drawings, and schematics to understand project requirements.
Material Preparation: Measure, mark, cut, bend, and form raw materials (metal, plastic) using hand/power tools and machinery.
Assembly & Welding: Join components by welding, riveting, or fastening, ensuring structural integrity.
Quality Control: Inspect and test finished products for accuracy, fit, and adherence to standards.
Maintenance: Keep tools, machinery, and work area clean and in good working order.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols (LOTO, JHA) and report hazards.
Essential Skills & Requirements
Technical Skills: Proficiency with fabrication tools, welding (often), and machinery.
Attention to Detail: High precision for tight tolerances.
Physical Ability: Strength, stamina, good dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and make decisions on materials.
Experience: Often requires experience with production/fabrication roles.
