Perform chemical experiments, tests, and analyses following established scientific methods and safety protocols.
Develop and optimize formulations, chemical processes, or new materials.
Prepare, analyze, and interpret test data to support research, quality assurance, or product development.
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, titrators, and spectrophotometers.
Document experimental procedures, results, and observations in laboratory notebooks or digital systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, GLP, GMP).
Troubleshoot analytical or process issues and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and quality departments.
Maintain proper chemical storage, labeling, and waste disposal according to safety guidelines.
Prepare technical reports, SOPs, safety documents, and presentations as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field (Master’s preferred for some roles).
Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry principles and laboratory techniques.
Experience with analytical instruments and lab equipment.
Excellent data analysis, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with laboratory safety and regulatory standards.
Good communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities.
Proficiency in using lab software, LIMS, or statistical analysis tools is a plus.
Experience in industrial labs (pharmaceutical, environmental, food, petrochemical, cosmetic, etc.).
Participation in research projects or method validation.
Knowledge of quality systems (GMP, GLP, ISO 17025).
Laboratory-based environment with exposure to chemicals, equipment, and instrumentation.
Requires adherence to strict safety protocols and use of PPE.
May involve extended standing, sample preparation, and repetitive lab tasks.
