Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive, technically qualified Civil or Mechanical Engineer to work directly with the Managing Director (MD) as a Technical Assistant.

This role involves technical coordination, data management, reporting, and operational follow-ups with various departments.

The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between the MD and different teams, ensuring smooth communication and execution of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Executive & Technical Support

Assist the MD in day-to-day technical, operational, and administrative activities.

Coordinate with Production, Sales, Purchase, and Accounts departments to collect and consolidate updates.

Follow up on key projects, production schedules, and client requirements.

Support the MD in decision-making by preparing concise reports and summaries.

2. Data Management & MIS

Maintain and update data related to quotations, orders, and production.

Prepare and manage Quotation MIS – track inquiries, quotations sent, conversion rates, and pending follow-ups.

Create and update Excel-based MIS reports for sales, dispatches, and departmental progress.

Ensure data accuracy and timely reporting to the MD.

3. Documentation & Communication

Draft letters, reports, and technical documents as instructed by the MD.

Handle internal and external communication professionally on behalf of the MD.

Maintain records of approvals, client correspondence, and project updates.

4. Coordination & Follow-up

Act as the single point of contact between the MD and all department heads.

Take daily/weekly reports from various departments and present concise summaries.

Ensure timely completion of tasks assigned by the MD and track action points.

5. Administrative & Planning Support

Assist in planning and organizing meetings, factory visits, and reviews.

Manage documentation, filing systems, and scheduling as required by the MD.

Candidate Requirements

Education: Diploma/B.E. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 0–1 years (experience in manufacturing or steel industry preferred)

Skills:

Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Good communication and coordination skills

Analytical mindset with attention to detail

Ability to prepare MIS and technical reports

Capable of handling multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

Other Requirements:

Male candidates only (factory-based role)

Must be reliable, confidential, and capable of working closely with senior management
