We are looking for a Desk Engineer to join our Client (MNC Bank) to resolve hardware & network issues and maintain overall IT infrastructure. The JD is mentioned as follows.
1. System & Billing Inventory Management
Maintain accurate records of hardware and software assets across multiple branches.
Update and reconcile inventory databases regularly to ensure proper tracking and accountability.
Monitor billing inventory including software licenses, hardware purchases, and renewals.
2. Vendor Coordination
Liaise with hardware and software vendors for procurement, support, and warranty claims.
Coordinate delivery, installation, and maintenance of IT assets.
3. Hardware & Software Support
Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues across all user levels.
Install, configure, and update OS, applications, and security patches.
Provide support for enterprise tools like Microsoft Office, antivirus software, VPNs, and other bank applications.
Perform hardware upgrades, replacements, and preventive maintenance.
4. Branch IT Support
Provide remote and on-site support for branch offices, ensuring minimal downtime.
Set up new workstations and configure network access.
Monitor system performance and maintain uptime using appropriate tools.
Manage user access, credentials, and compliance with IT policies.
5. Technical Skills
Operating Systems: Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Linux (basic)
Tools: Active Directory.
Networking: Basic TCP/IP, LAN/WAN troubleshooting, VPN setup
Software: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Antivirus Suites, Printer Utilities
