Key Responsibilities
Monitor network performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
Provide first-level troubleshooting for network issues, escalating complex problems to senior engineers.
Assist in configuring and deploying network hardware and software such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Maintain network documentation, including schematics and configuration records.
Respond to network alerts and service requests in a timely manner.
Perform routine network maintenance and software updates.
Collaborate with L2/L3 engineers to resolve advanced issues and implement improvements.
🎓 Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Basic understanding of networking concepts such as LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, subnetting, and DHCP.
Familiarity with routing and switching protocols, including static and dynamic routing.
Exposure to network tools like Wireshark and basic firewall configurations.
Knowledge of Windows and Linux OS networking is a plus.

Ability to work in a 24×7 support environment, often as part of a Network Operations Center (NOC).
