Role Overview

The Network Support Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing the organization’s network infrastructure. The role involves providing technical support, monitoring network performance, resolving connectivity issues, and ensuring smooth and secure network operations.

Key Responsibilities

·       Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN network infrastructure.

·       Provide day-to-day support for routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other networking devices.

·       Diagnose and resolve network issues related to performance, connectivity, and security.

·       Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.

·       Handle network incidents, service requests, and escalations within defined SLAs.

·       Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and inventory records.

·       Support VPN configuration, remote access issues, and user connectivity.

·       Conduct regular network health checks, performance monitoring, and optimization.

·       Coordinate with ISPs/vendors for downtime, service issues, or upgrades.

·       Ensure adherence to network security protocols and best practices.
