Key Responsibilities

Data Centre Operations

Perform rack mounting, rack dressing, and cable management as per industry standards.

Manage structured cabling, patch panels, and labeling for organized infrastructure.

Network & Cabling Work

I/O punching, patch cord termination, and cross-connects.

Fiber optic activities:

OTDR Testing (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer).

OLTS Testing (Optical Loss Test Set).

Fiber splicing and fault rectification.

Testing & Quality

Perform Penta Testing of cables for quality assurance.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Technical Drawings & Documentation

Prepare and update AutoCAD drawings for data centre layouts, network diagrams, and cable routing.

Maintain accurate project documentation, test reports, and handover files.

Project Execution & Support

Support IT infrastructure deployment in data centres, offices, and project sites.

Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and clients for smooth project execution.

Troubleshoot connectivity and cabling issues efficiently.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong hands-on experience in rack mounting, cabling, and dressing.

Proficiency in I/O punching, copper & fiber cabling.

Expert in Fiber OTDR & OLTS Testing, Fiber Splicing.

Knowledge of Penta Testing standards.

Proficiency in AutoCAD (network drawings, rack elevations, floor layouts).

Ability to work independently as well as in a team under tight deadlines.
