Civil Site Engineers are responsible for making designs, executing construction projects, supervising the project execution, doing geotechnical analysis and providing all site services.They coordinate with consultants, contractors, and local enforcement agencies and ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Their duties and responsibilities include:
Preparing site plans and specifications
Inspecting construction sites to ensure compliance with design, project specifications, and safety codes
Directing or performing surveys and measurements
Estimating costs and preparing budgets
Planning and coordinating construction activities for timely completion of projectsWorking with architects, consultants, and contractors on project estimations and designs
Performing geotechnical analysis and conducting soil tests for structural foundations
Reporting on work progress and budget matters to seniors
Ensuring materials and workmanship meet the project Quality Standards and Design requirements
Addressing problems that might arise during construction
Ensuring the project complies with all building and safety codes
Communicating with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders
