Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled IT professional with expertise in Microsoft Excel, VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), and automation. The role involves developing, maintaining, and supporting Excel-based tools, macros, and automated reporting systems to improve efficiency and accuracy across business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Excel VBA macros, automation scripts, and user forms.
Create and manage automated reports, dashboards, and data analysis tools for various departments.
Optimize existing Excel-based processes to improve speed, reliability, and user experience.
Troubleshoot and resolve VBA, Excel, and data-related issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Integrate Excel with databases (SQL/Access) and other applications when required.
Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with company policies.
Provide end-user training and technical support for Excel/VBA-based tools.
Document code, processes, and workflows for knowledge sharing.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of Excel formulas, functions, PivotTables, Power Query, and VBA programming.
Experience in automation of repetitive tasks and process improvement.
Knowledge of MS Access, SQL, or other database systems is an added advantage.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Good communication skills to interact with non-technical users.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
2–5 years of experience in Excel VBA development and IT support.
Experience with reporting, MIS, and process automation in a corporate environment.
Knowledge of ERP/CRM systems integration with Excel will be a plus.
