We are seeking a skilled Desktop Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintaining desktop computing environments within our organization. As a Desktop Engineer, you will collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure seamless operation and optimal performance of desktop systems.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software.
Provide technical support and assistance to end-users regarding desktop issues.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems related to desktop computing.
Collaborate with IT team members to deploy software updates, patches, and security fixes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to desktop computing.
Create and maintain documentation for desktop configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Monitor desktop performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Assist with desktop-related projects and initiatives as needed.
Assest, Inventory management. User/email ID management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum 1 years of experience in desktop support or a related field.
Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop hardware and software.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office productivity suites.
Experience with desktop imaging and deployment technologies (e.g., SCCM, MDT).
Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Windows domain technologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or equivalent are a plus.
