Key responsibilities
Staff management: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff, monitor performance, and provide coaching or feedback.
Task and schedule management: Assign daily cleaning tasks to staff and create and manage cleaning schedules.
Quality control: Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleaning standards, hygiene, and presentation meet required levels.
Inventory and supply management: Monitor, order, and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment to prevent waste and ensure staff have what they need.
Guest service: Respond to guest requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Safety and compliance: Ensure staff follow all safety and sanitation regulations and procedures.
Reporting: Maintain records of staff actions, work assignments, and prepare periodic reports for management.
