KRA of Housekeeping Staff
1.
Store Cleanliness & Hygiene
Sweep and mop the entire store floor twice a day (before opening & midday).
Dust shelves, racks, and display units daily.
Clean entrance, glass doors, and windows every morning and as needed.
Maintain cleanliness in customer-facing areas including billing counter and seating (if any).
2.
Washroom Maintenance
(if available)
Clean toilet and washbasin at least twice a day.
Ensure availability of handwash, tissue, and proper drainage.
3.
Garbage Management
Empty dustbins twice a day or when full.
Segregate dry/wet waste and dispose of properly.
4.
Product Presentation Assistance
Align fallen products back to shelves if noticed.
Help in wiping product packaging and display items during slack time.
Assist staff in removing empty cartons and clutter from the floor promptly.
5.
Support in Store Upkeep
Maintain pantry/kitchenette cleanliness (if applicable).
Clean toys before display (especially for return gifts and infant section).
Water indoor plants (if any) regularly.
6.
Discipline & Timeliness
Be present in-store during working hours as per rota.
Wear uniform (if applicable) and maintain personal hygiene.
Avoid phone use or long breaks without supervisor permission.
7.
Emergency & Event Readiness
Prepare store for special events or high-footfall days (extra cleaning, organizing).
Help in quick cleaning post-events or rainy days.
