Position Overview

We are looking for a WordPress Developer with strong SEO expertise who can design, optimize, and scale websites that rank fast and convert better. You will work closely with our digital strategy team to implement best SEO practices, optimize page speed, and enhance the user experience across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain WordPress websites (themes, plugins, and custom functionalities).

Implement and manage on-page and off-page SEO strategies to boost rankings and organic traffic.

Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and backlink audits.

Optimize websites for speed, mobile responsiveness, and technical SEO.

Use tools like Google Search Console, Analytics, Tag Manager, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Yoast, etc.

Regularly monitor website performance and prepare SEO reports.

Collaborate with the design, content, and marketing teams for end-to-end optimization.

Troubleshoot technical SEO issues and perform regular website audits.

Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and SEO trends.

Requirements

Proven experience (1–3 years) in WordPress development and SEO.

Strong understanding of WordPress, HTML, CSS, JS, PHP (basic).

Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google tools).

Experience with schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and page indexing.

Ability to handle multiple projects with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in digital marketing agencies or tech startups.

Understanding of local SEO and Google My Business optimization.

Knowledge of WordPress security, backup, and maintenance best practices.

Familiar
