Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative Website Designer with 2-4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in web design. You will be responsible for creating visually stunning, user-friendly, and functional websites that align with our brand identity and business objectives. You will work closely with our leadership and marketing teams to ensure a seamless and effective user experience from concept to launch.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Development:

  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.

  • Design engaging and responsive websites, landing pages, and web applications using modern design principles and tools.

  • Develop and maintain brand-consistent website designs, including color palettes, typography, and imagery.

  • Ensure all designs are optimized for various devices and platforms (desktop, tablet, mobile).

• Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to understand project requirements and goals.

  • Work closely with front-end developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to projects.

  • Present design concepts and rationale to internal teams.

• User Experience (UX) & User Interface (UI):

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve website design.

  • Apply best practices in UX/UI design to create intuitive and seamless user experiences.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, techniques, and technologies.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools.

  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (a basic understanding is sufficient; deep coding knowledge is a plus).

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, or similar platforms.

  • Knowledge of SEO principles as they relate to website design.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field.

• Proven work experience as a Website Designer or similar role with 2-4 years of experience, including a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• A strong portfolio showcasing a range of web design projects.

• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.

• Solid understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.

• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with animation and motion graphics.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).

• Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

• Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Trello, or Jira.
