We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer – Packaging to develop innovative, functional, and brand-aligned packaging designs. The ideal candidate will combine strong visual design skills with an understanding of packaging materials, printing processes, and production constraints to deliver high-quality packaging solutions that stand out on the shelf and meet technical requirements.
Create compelling packaging designs for cartons, labels, flexible packaging, corrugated boxes, and promotional packaging.
Develop concepts, mockups, dielines, and final artwork in accordance with brand guidelines and marketing strategies.
Translate marketing briefs and product requirements into effective packaging visuals.
Ensure designs are visually appealing, functional, and cost-effective.
Prepare print-ready files following technical specifications for various printing methods (offset, flexography, gravure, digital).
Work with dielines, color separations, barcodes, and regulatory text.
Ensure accuracy of dimensions, layouts, and product information.
Conduct pre-press checks and proof approvals to ensure quality and consistency.
Maintain brand consistency across all packaging formats and product lines.
Ensure packaging complies with regulatory, legal, and industry standards (nutrition labeling, safety icons, recycling symbols, etc.).
Adapt designs for different SKUs, languages, and regional markets.
Collaborate with marketing, product development, sales, and production teams.
Coordinate with printers, packaging suppliers, and vendors to ensure design feasibility and print quality.
Participate in brainstorming sessions for new product launches and rebranding initiatives.
Review printed samples and approve color, material, and finishing quality.
Troubleshoot design or production issues and recommend improvements.
Optimize designs to reduce material waste and production costs where possible.
Stay updated on packaging trends, materials, sustainability practices, and consumer preferences.
Propose creative ideas for eco-friendly and innovative packaging solutions.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Packaging Design, or a related field.
2–5 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in the packaging or FMCG industry.
Proven experience designing for print and managing packaging artwork from concept to production.
Proficiency in Corel Draw (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Strong understanding of dielines, typography, color management (CMYK, Pantone), and print production.
Familiarity with packaging materials, finishes, and printing techniques.
Strong visual sense, layout skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on practicality and efficiency.
