Job Profile Summary – Cap Designer
The Cap Designer is responsible for developing creative and production-ready cap designs based on client requirements and design briefs. This role includes creating detailed mockups, managing sampling, handling order entry for production processing, and ensuring seamless coordination between the design, embroidery, and production teams. The ideal candidate combines strong design skills with excellent communication and organizational abilities to deliver high-quality results that meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand and interpret client design briefs and requirements.
Create detailed and visually appealing cap mockups using relevant design software.
Develop and manage design samples for client approval.
Handle order entry and ensure accurate processing of designs into production.
Coordinate closely with the production and embroidery teams to maintain design integrity and quality.
Review pre-production samples and suggest necessary design or technical adjustments.
Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely completion and delivery.
Stay updated with trends in headwear design, materials, and embroidery techniques.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW).
Strong sense of aesthetics, color coordination, and branding.
Knowledge of embroidery digitization and cap production processes.
Excellent communication, coordination, and time management skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
