Job Title: Senior Graphic Designer – Print & Packaging (Tea & FMCG)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Graphic Designer with strong expertise in premium FMCG and tea packaging design. The candidate will be responsible for developing high-end packaging, print collateral, and branding assets that reflect the heritage and luxury positioning of Golden Tips.

Key Responsibilities

1. Packaging & Product Design (Tea-Specific)

Design elegant, premium, and brand-aligned packaging for:

Tea boxes, pouches, sachets, tin labels, brochures, social media posts, banners & flyers

Premium, seasonal & festive tea gift sets (First Flush, Second Flush, Gifting Editions, Samplers, Corporate Gifts)

Export packaging and private label/custom packaging

Develop dielines, structural packaging, and production-ready artwork for domestic and international markets

Create packaging innovations that blend brand heritage with modern global design trends

2. Print Media & Brand Collaterals

Design high-quality brand communication materials including:

Brochures, product catalogs, visiting cards, invitation cards, shelf talkers, posters, danglers

Retail store branding & display graphics for Tea Boutiques

Exhibition & event branding, standees, banners, and billboards

Trade marketing materials for distributors and export partners

3. Brand Identity & Creative Direction

Strengthen and evolve Golden Tips’ visual identity across all brand touchpoints

Maintain a luxurious, heritage-inspired yet contemporary brand aesthetic for global markets

Develop mood boards, visual concepts, and creative themes for seasonal launches (Spring First Flush, Autumn Flush, Festive Gifting, etc.)

4. Pre-Press, Vendor & Production Coordination

Prepare final artworks that are 100% print-ready with accurate dielines, color profiles, emboss/foil/matte finishes, and print specifications

Coordinate with printing vendors, packaging suppliers, and material partners for sampling, proofing, and final production

Strong knowledge of specialty finishes and premium packaging elements including:

Foil stamping, embossing/debossing, textured boards, metallized films, matte/gloss lamination, gold finishes, etc.

Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and CorelDRAW

Strong understanding of packaging structures, materials, and printing technologies

Strong command of typography, color theory, premium design, and luxury FMCG aesthetics

Experience in tea, beverages, gourmet, luxury, or lifestyle FMCG brands is highly preferred

Creative Skills

Strong visual storytelling skills aligned with luxury and heritage brand building

Ability to design packaging with global appeal for premium and exotic product categories

Up-to-date with design trends in luxury FMCG, retail, artisanal, and boutique brands

Soft Skills

Excellent communication, project management, and presentation skills

Ability to manage multiple design projects within deadlines

Leadership capabilities and experience mentoring junior designers

Experience in vendor, printer, and cross-department coordination

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Design, Visual Arts, Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field

5–8+ years of experience in FMCG/tea/packaging design with premium brand experience preferred

A strong portfolio showcasing premium packaging and print work is mandatory
