We are looking for a 3D modeling design engineer to join our team Autopack Industries. The role involves to create 3D model, 2D Drafting, Assembly, Sheet metal for manufacturing parts. Also, work with MS office to maintain design data. This position offers in-hand salary of min 20,000 INR. and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential pharma industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• 3D CAD Modeling & Drafting

  • Create detailed 3D models of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Solidedge).

  • Develop 2D drawings for manufacturing, assembly, and quality inspection.

  • Ensure models are accurate, manufacturable, and aligned with engineering standards.

• Concept & Design Development

  • Translate product requirements, sketches, or concepts into working designs.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and propose innovative design solutions.

  • Optimize designs for functionality, durability, cost, and ease of manufacturing.

• Assembly & Motion Studies

  • Create assembly layouts and check for proper fits, tolerances, and clearances.

• Documentation & Standards

  • Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials), GD&T drawings, and technical documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant ISO, ASME, or industry-specific standards.

• Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with R&D, production, and quality teams to refine designs.

  • Provide support during prototype manufacturing and testing.

  • Incorporate customer feedback and field data into design improvements.

• Design for Manufacturing (DFM) & Cost Efficiency

  • Ensure designs are optimized for CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, casting, 3D printing, or injection molding.

  • Reduce material waste and minimize production costs without compromising performance.

• Project & Revision Management

  • Maintain version control of design files.

  • Track design revisions and update models/drawings accordingly.

  • Meet project deadlines and deliverables.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Diploma in mechanical with 02 years of minimum experience in related field. Attention to detail, physical stamina and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role.
