Job Title: 3D Animator (Children’s Animation)

Job Summary

We’re looking for skilled and creative 3D Animators to bring our characters and stories to life for children’s rhyme and educational videos. You will be responsible for creating smooth, expressive, and engaging character animations — from singing and dancing to storytelling movements — in line with the brand’s cheerful and colorful world.

You’ll work closely with the modeling, rigging, and sound teams to produce high-quality animations for a global kids’ audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Animate characters, props, and environments for 3D children’s rhymes and stories.

• Create lip-sync, body movements, facial expressions, and gestures matching audio.

• Work from storyboards and animatics to translate scripts into compelling motion.

• Maintain consistency in timing, rhythm, and character style across videos.

• Collaborate with rigging and lighting artists to ensure seamless production.

• Implement camera movements, scene transitions, and basic visual storytelling.

• Participate in regular reviews and make revisions based on feedback.

• Optimize animations for efficient rendering without losing quality.

Required Skills & Tools

• Expertise in Blender or Autodesk Maya (mandatory).

• Solid understanding of character animation principles – timing, spacing, squash & stretch, anticipation, etc.

• Experience with lip-sync animation for music-based or dialogue-heavy content.

• Ability to animate stylized, cartoon-style characters with personality.

• Familiarity with camera animation, scene staging, and basic cinematography.

• Understanding of rendering workflows and optimization for YouTube content.

Experience & Qualification

• 3–6 years of experience in 3D character animation (kids’ content preferred).

• Strong showreel demonstrating character motion, lip-sync, and emotional storytelling.

• Degree or diploma in Animation, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or related field.

Bonus / Good-to-Have

• Familiarity with rigging basics and troubleshooting rig issues.

• Experience with Moho, Unreal Engine, or Toon Boom Harmony (optional).

• Prior work on nursery rhymes, kids’ shows, or short films.

• Basic knowledge of After Effects or Premiere Pro for compositing previews.
