Field Sales Executive – Retail Loans
The Field Sales Executive is responsible for acquiring new customers and generating business for various loan products such as Personal Loans, Business Loans, Home Loans, Loan Against Property (LAP), and Balance Transfers. This will be done primarily through field activities including cold calling, referral calling, networking, and relationship building with potential customers in the open market.
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Identify and approach prospective customers through cold calls, market visits, reference generation, and networking.
Work on self-sourced leads from the open market, including direct sales to individuals and small businesses.
Build a pipeline of high-quality prospects and ensure consistent conversion.
Sales & Business Development:
Promote and explain different loan products (Personal Loan, Home Loan, Business Loan, LAP, Balance Transfer).
Evaluate the financial needs of customers and suggest suitable loan products.
Achieve assigned monthly/quarterly sales targets for different loan products.
Customer Interaction & Relationship Management:
Conduct personal meetings with customers to collect documents and explain process details.
Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure referrals and repeat business.
Provide excellent after-sales service and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Documentation & Coordination:
Collect and verify customer KYC and financial documents for loan processing.
Ensure completeness of application forms and supporting documents.
Coordinate with internal credit, operations, and backend teams for smooth disbursement of loans.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
Track competitor activities, schemes, and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
Submit daily reports on leads generated, meetings conducted, and conversions achieved.
Provide feedback to management for product and process improvements.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to do cold calling and field sales independently.
Basic knowledge of retail loan products (PL, BL, HL, LAP, Balance Transfers).
Basic understanding of credit assessment and financial documents.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
Comfortable with field work and local market travel.
Minimum: Higher secondary
1 to 3 years of experience in direct sales/loan sales/field sales.
Freshers with strong communication and sales aptitude can also apply.
Prior experience in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance) sector is an added advantage.
