Job Summary:

HDFC Bank is looking for a dynamic and result-driven Sales Officer to join our Navi Mumbai team. The role involves the acquisition of new customers and the promotion of key financial products including Merchant Acquiring Solutions (POS, QR, Payment Gateway), Overdraft facilities, Loans (Personal, Business), and Insurance (Life & General). The ideal candidate will deliver excellent service while meeting assigned sales and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Merchant Acquiring (POS/QR/PG):

Identify and onboard merchants for digital payment solutions (POS terminals, QR codes, and online payment gateways).

Ensure merchant activation, training, and regular transaction usage.

Promote UPI, Bharat QR, and other digital banking solutions.

🔹 Loans & Overdraft (OD):

Source leads for personal loans, business loans, and OD facilities.

Assist clients in documentation and eligibility assessment.

Liaise with credit and operations for timely processing and disbursement.

🔹 Insurance Products:

Cross-sell life, health, and general insurance policies.

Explain product features, premium options, and claim processes.

Ensure compliance with IRDA and bank standards.

🔹 Sales & Relationship Management:

Drive branch-level sales and meet monthly targets across product lines.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Conduct need-based analysis and offer customized banking solutions.

🔹 Compliance & Reporting:

Ensure documentation accuracy and adherence to bank policy and regulatory guidelines.

Maintain daily MIS and update CRM tools regularly.

Stay up-to-date with product features and industry best practices.

Key Requirements:

Graduate in any discipline (Commerce/Finance preferred)

1–3 years of experience in sales, preferably in banking/financial services

Good knowledge of banking products and digital payment ecosystem

Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
