Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales operations in the construction equipment sector. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of the industry, strong customer management skills, and a proven record of achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

• Lead and mentor a team of sales executives or territory managers.

• Build strong relationships with key clients, dealers, contractors, and government departments.

• Identify new business opportunities in assigned territory or region.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt strategies accordingly.

• Coordinate with service and product support teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.

• Prepare accurate sales forecasts and performance reports.

• Participate in tenders, exhibitions, and promotional events to enhance market presence.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing strategies, and credit guidelines.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. MBA is a plus.

• Minimum 6 years of relevant sales experience in construction or heavy equipment industry.

• Excellent knowledge of equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoe, compactors, etc.

• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Ability to travel extensively and work under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

• Regional language proficiency (if applicable)

• Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and ERP systems

• Prior experience working with brands like JCB, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Tata Hitachi, etc.
