Role and resposebility :
The Key Sales Manager (KSM) is responsible for driving life insurance sales through the assigned Axis Bank branches. The role involves building strong relationships with bank staff, generating leads, ensuring business growth, and delivering exceptional customer experience.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for life insurance products.
Drive revenue through cross-selling, upselling, and need-based selling.
Conduct customer meetings, joint field calls, and presentations.
2. Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with Axis Bank branch staff and leadership.
Ensure branch staff are trained and motivated to generate insurance business.
Work closely with Branch Managers to identify business opportunities.
3. Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
Generate leads through walk-ins, existing customers, and branch activities.
Track leads, follow up on prospects, and ensure timely closures.
Maintain MIS, daily reports, and sales dashboards.
4. Customer Service & Compliance
Ensure seamless onboarding and policy issuance.
Resolve customer queries, grievances, and service requests.
Maintain full compliance with IRDAI and company guidelines.
5. Training & Activation
Train and handhold new bank employees on Max Life products and processes.
Conduct regular product refreshers and activation sessions.
