Role Overview
The Head BDM will lead client acquisition and relationship management for the recruitment division.
The role requires a results-driven professional who can expand the client base, build long-term partnerships, and lead revenue growth for the consultancy.
You will work closely with the recruitment team to ensure smooth delivery of mandates and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, approach, and onboard new corporate clients for recruitment services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with HR heads, decision-makers, and hiring managers.
• Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
• Present service offerings, negotiate commercials, and close agreements.
• Coordinate with internal recruitment teams to ensure timely fulfilment of client requirements.
• Track market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
• Prepare business proposals, pitch decks, and performance reports.
• Lead, mentor, and guide junior BDMs or recruiters when required.
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Candidate Profile
• 4–5 years of experience in BDM roles, preferably in recruitment, staffing, or HR consulting.
• Proven track record in client acquisition and managing key accounts.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle targets and manage a structured sales pipeline.
• Understanding of recruitment processes, industry hiring trends, and client expectations.
• Self-driven, organised, and comfortable working with leadership teams.
