Job Overview:
We are hiring a motivated and resourceful Business Development Executive to join a consulting firm specializing in corporate training and motivational workshops, open to flexible work hours to accommodate client needs.
This role focuses on driving client outreach for training modules, motivational workshops, and learning & development (L&D) sessions, targeting corporate HR and training managers, while working closely with a renowned industry leader.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, confident in client communication, quick-thinking in seizing opportunities, and skilled at supporting the business development manager in securing new engagements.
This is an individual contributor role with no team management responsibilities, involving primarily online and office-based client interactions with occasional field visits (e.g., client meetings or industry events).
Key Responsibilities:
Client Outreach & Business Development:
Generate leads by identifying corporate clients interested in training programs and workshops.
Pitch corporate training modules, motivational workshops, and L&D sessions to HR and training managers.
Conduct basic market research to identify potential clients and industry needs.
Follow up on leads to convert inquiries into confirmed engagements.
Client Coordination:
Assist in scheduling online or in-person client meetings with flexible timing to suit client needs.
Support the preparation of presentations and pre-sales documents for client pitches.
Support the high-profile industry leader in client pitches and program coordination.
Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Assist in maintaining client database for future outreach.
Sales Tracking & Reporting:
Update lead status and client interactions in CRM tools.
Prepare weekly MIS reports on sales pipeline and outreach activities.
Support the business development manager with data for client proposals and follow-ups.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
Graduate in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Experience2–4 years in business development, corporate outreach, or client servicing.
Prior exposure to HR services, training, or consulting businesses is preferred.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
Soft Skills
Strong spoken and written communication skills for client interactions.
Organized and proactive in managing follow-ups and documentation.
Enthusiastic about promoting training and development services.
Resourceful and quick on their feet in responding to client needs and opportunities.
