Key Responsibilities
The Area Sales Manager will manage the regional sales team and operations, focusing on achieving sales targets and ensuring effective execution of marketing initiatives. Core responsibilities include:
Sales Target Achievement: Driving sales and ensuring the team meets monthly/quarterly sales objectives within the assigned territories.
Staff Management & Leadership:
· Recruitment and Training: Leading, mentoring, and managing the area sales team.
· Performance Monitoring: Setting performance goals, conducting regular reviews, and ensuring discipline and productivity.
· Camps/Event Arrangements:
· Coordination and Execution: Planning, organizing, and managing promotional camps and health events to drive product awareness and sales.
· Logistics: Ensuring all necessary materials, staff, and permits are in place for successful event execution.
· Store and Inventory Handling:
· Stock Oversight: Supervising the proper handling, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical products/samples.
· Reporting: Maintaining accurate inventory records and coordinating with the supply chain team to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
· Market Analysis & Reporting: Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and preparing detailed sales, staff, and operational reports for senior management.
Requirements and Skills
· Proven track record in sales or business development, preferably in the Pharma/Healthcare sector.
· Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to travel extensively within the designated Delhi regions.`
