Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and passionate Fashion Designer to join our team at Prabas Rainforest Textiles. The ideal candidate should have 1–4 years of hands-on experience in fashion designing, especially in ethnic, sustainable, or contemporary wear. You will be involved in the entire design process — from concept to creation — and contribute to our unique vision of eco-conscious fashion.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative and trend-driven fashion concepts aligned with brand aesthetics.

• Design women’s wear collections using sustainable fabrics and eco-friendly concepts.

• Create detailed tech packs, sketches, and mood boards.

• Source materials and fabrics as per seasonal requirements.

• Work closely with tailors and production team for timely sample development.

• Conduct regular market and trend research to stay updated.

• Ensure quality, fit, and finish of final garments meet brand standards.

• Coordinate with photographers and marketing teams for product shoots.

• Assist in merchandising, styling, and visual displays when required.

• Maintain documentation and garment archives efficiently.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design tools.

• Strong knowledge of fabrics, cuts, and garment construction.

• Excellent sense of fashion aesthetics and color combinations.

• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.

• Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Design or related field.

• Prior experience in eco-friendly or textile-based fashion is a plus.
