Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ladies garment collections as per market trends and buyer requirements

• Research latest trends in fabrics, colors, and silhouettes suitable for export markets

• Create design sketches and technical drawings (manual or CAD)

• Develop samples in coordination with pattern masters and sampling team

• Select suitable fabrics, trims, and embellishments

• Work closely with merchandisers and production teams to ensure design feasibility and timely execution

• Oversee fitting sessions and make necessary corrections to patterns or designs

• Maintain proper documentation of designs, samples, and production details

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in designing ladies garments, preferably for export markets

• Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and embellishments

• Good sketching skills and proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW

• Ability to understand buyer tech packs and develop designs accordingly

• Strong communication and coordination skills

• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
