Role:
A Testing Engineer is responsible for testing, commissioning, and maintaining electrical equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform testing of switchgear, relays, transformers, CT/PT, and cables.
Carry out protection relay testing (numerical and electromechanical).
Operate testing kits such as Omicron, Megger, TTR, Primary & Secondary injection kits.
Prepare test reports and documentation.
Support in commissioning of substations and panels.
Troubleshoot faults in LV/HV systems.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of electrical protection systems.
Hands-on experience with testing instruments.
Ability to read single line diagrams and protection schemes.
Safety awareness during high-voltage work.
