Position: ITI Electrician

Experience Required: 5+ Years

Industry: FMCG / FMCD

Location: Cuttack

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced ITI Electrician with strong exposure in FMCG/FMCD manufacturing units. The candidate will be responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of electrical systems to ensure smooth and uninterrupted plant operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.

Troubleshoot electrical issues in motors, sensors, relays, contactors, MCC panels, VFDs, and PLC-based control systems.

Conduct routine inspections and ensure proper functioning of production line electrical systems.

Maintain LT panels, transformers, DG sets, APFC panels, and related equipment.

Handle breakdown maintenance and restore operations with minimum downtime.

Maintain daily maintenance logs and documentation.

Ensure 100% compliance with safety protocols as per FMCG/FMCD standards.

Identify potential electrical hazards and take preventive actions.

Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth operations.

Ensure energy efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Requirements

ITI Electrician certification (mandatory).

Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.

Strong knowledge of motors, MCC/VFD/PLC panels, and industrial wiring.

Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.

Expertise in troubleshooting electrical faults quickly.

Good understanding of electrical regulations and safety standards.

Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency breakdowns.

Qualification

ITI Electrician

Additional certification in industrial electrical maintenance (preferred)
