To ensure safe, timely, and efficient transportation of company staff, materials, and equipment for solar projects, while maintaining vehicles in excellent working condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely drive company vehicles to transport staff, solar equipment, and materials to various project sites.
Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off schedules are met.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and ensure regular servicing.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs.
Follow all traffic rules, regulations, and safety guidelines.
Assist with loading and unloading of solar panels, tools, and materials.
Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and trip details.
Report any accidents, mechanical issues, or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
Support logistics and field teams during solar project installations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 10th pass or equivalent education.
Valid commercial/light motor vehicle driving license.
Minimum 2–3 years of driving experience, preferably in corporate or logistics roles.
Knowledge of local and intercity routes.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Punctual, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry solar equipment or materials when required.
Willingness to travel long distances and work flexible hours.
