Job Overview

The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for managing and growing the company’s online sales channels. This role involves overseeing day-to-day e-commerce operations, optimizing the customer experience, driving traffic, improving conversion rates, and ensuring seamless integration between marketing, logistics, and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

• E-Commerce Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute the overall e-commerce strategy aligned with business goals.

  • Manage and optimize the company’s website and online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.).

  • Identify and implement new opportunities to increase online sales and market share.

• Website Management

  • Oversee site content, product listings, pricing, and promotional campaigns.

  • Ensure website functionality, UX/UI, and performance are optimized for conversions.

  • Collaborate with developers and designers to implement updates and enhancements.

• Digital Marketing

  • Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and influencer campaigns.

  • Analyze marketing ROI and customer acquisition costs.

• Merchandising & Inventory

  • Coordinate with the supply chain and warehouse teams to maintain accurate stock levels.

  • Implement effective product categorization, cross-selling, and upselling strategies.

• Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor KPIs such as traffic, conversion rate, AOV, and revenue.

  • Use data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, GA4, Power BI) to identify insights and make data-driven decisions.

• Customer Experience

  • Ensure smooth order fulfillment, returns, and post-purchase support.

  • Oversee customer feedback and improve satisfaction and retention.

• Team Management

  • Lead and mentor the e-commerce team (content, digital marketing, operations).

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, finance, and logistics departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).

• 4–8 years of experience in e-commerce or digital marketing.

• Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.) and digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO tools).

• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

• Experience in B2C/B2B e-commerce, preferably in [industry, e.g., fashion, electronics, FMCG].
