SUMMARY OF THE OVERALL JOB
The incumbent will be responsible for generating funds for Plan India through the acquisition of new donors. The role involves working primarily with pledge data and leads generated through social media campaigns. The executive will play a key role in donor acquisition, engagement, and retention while ensuring monthly fundraising targets are achieved.
KEY FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
• Generate funds from individual donors through direct engagement.
• Acquire new donors through leads generated from social media campaigns and other sources.
• Ensure that monthly fundraising targets are achieved, totaling a specified multiple of the salary.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with donors.
• Maintain donor records and ensure regular communication.
• Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills to maximize fundraising opportunities.
• Convert primary leads into secondary contacts to expand donor outreach.
• Undertake any other reasonable tasks assigned by the organization.
• Maintain high ethical standards and transparency in all fundraising activities.
• Effectively convey the organization’s mission, vision, and programs to potential donors.
• Contact Donors through calls and explain Plan India's work to members in a clear and exciting way to generate funds to support.
• Cultivate a network of dedicated donors and volunteers. Develop a long-term relationship with the donor and upgrade them to the donor pyramid.
• Meet the fundraising target given by the line manager.
• Manage F2F meeting with the donors to upgrade the ticket size.
ELIGIBILITY (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)
· Graduate/ Post Graduate
· Excellent English communication skills with demonstrated ability to talk and listen to people and build rapport with them.
· Highly performance-oriented and ability to work in a team.
· Energy and drive to inspire people
· Public Speaking skills
