Position Summary
A Telecaller is responsible for initiating telephonic contact with existing and prospective clients to generate sales, gather customer feedback, and provide support. The primary goal is to boost sales by reaching out to potential customers, resolving their queries, and maintaining a healthy relationship over the phone.
Key Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers to explain company products/services and encourage purchases.
Handle inbound calls, resolving customer queries and providing accurate information.
Maintain and update customer contact details and databases regularly.
Understand customer requirements, ask targeted questions, and close sales deals efficiently.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients; foster rapport to ensure good customer experience.
Record details of conversations, feedback, and sales activities for future follow-ups and reporting.
Meet individual and team sales targets set by the organization.
Identify customer needs and suggest suitable solutions from company offerings.
Attend team meetings to clarify progress, report performance, and align strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Graduation preferred.
Prior experience as a Telecaller, TeleMarketer, or similar role in sales is an advantage.
Excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to switch communication styles based on client needs.
Basic computer literacy; familiarity with CRM tools and telephone systems is a plus.
Outstanding problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as required.
