To assist the Purchase Department in vendor management, procurement planning, material availability, and documentation, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials for production and global requirements.
Support the Purchase Manager in daily procurement operations.
Assist in vendor management, including communication, quotations, and follow-up for delivery.
Participate in vendor development – identifying and evaluating new suppliers (local and international).
Ensure material availability as per production and project schedules.
Coordinate with Stores, Production, and Accounts for smooth material flow and purchase order closure.
Monitor cost and inventory control to maintain optimum stock levels.
Prepare and maintain purchase orders, GRNs, and related documents.
Assist in global procurement activities (imports, vendor communication, shipment tracking).
Maintain accurate records of suppliers, purchase history, and reports in Excel / ERP.
Support the preparation of purchase documentation and management reports.
Knowledge of procurement and inventory management processes.
Basic understanding of electrical / electronic components and industrial materials.
Good communication and negotiation skills with vendors.
Proficiency in MS Office, Tally / ERP software, and email correspondence.
Analytical and reporting skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced global environment.
Team player with a proactive approach.
