The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and promoting IT products/services to potential customers. The role requires strong communication skills, market understanding, and the ability to convert leads into long-term business partnerships.
Identify potential clients through various channels (LinkedIn, cold calling, email campaigns, networking).
Research and understand target markets, sectors, and decision-makers.
Maintain and update the sales pipeline with qualified leads.
Conduct meetings, presentations, and product/service demos for prospective clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Understand client requirements and propose customized IT solutions.
Convert qualified leads into business opportunities and close sales.
Work toward achieving monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and finalize deals with clients.
Coordinate with technical teams to prepare proposals, solutions, and project scopes.
Work closely with marketing teams to develop sales materials and campaigns.
Provide feedback to management on market trends and competitive activities.
Prepare daily/weekly reports on lead status, client interactions, and sales performance.
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
Track metrics such as conversions, pipelines, and revenue.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good understanding of IT services, software solutions, or technology products.
Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
Ability to handle client objections and close deals.
Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset.
Basic knowledge of CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in business development or sales (IT industry preferred).
