We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Education Counselor to provide guidance to students in making informed academic and career choices. The ideal candidate will support students through educational planning, help identify strengths and areas for improvement, and assist with course selections, college admissions, or vocational opportunities.
Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions to students regarding academic, career, and personal development.
Assist students with planning their educational pathways and selecting suitable courses, programs, or institutions.
Guide students through application processes for schools, colleges, scholarships, or job placements.
Organize and conduct informational seminars, career fairs, and campus tours.
Maintain accurate records of student interactions, progress, and outcomes.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to support student development.
Stay updated on educational trends, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
Provide support for standardized test preparation and career assessments (SAT, ACT, GRE, IELTS, etc.).
Support students with special needs or learning challenges by connecting them with appropriate resources.
Uphold student confidentiality and ensure ethical and respectful communication at all times.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Proven experience in academic or career counseling, preferably in an educational institution.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Familiarity with college admissions processes and educational systems (local and international).
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Proficiency in using educational software, databases, and Microsoft Office tools.
Certification in counseling or career guidance.
Experience working with international students or study abroad programs.
Multilingual abilities are a plus.
