Prepare and cook meals for plant employees according to predetermined menus.
Ensure all food preparation complies with safety and sanitation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and workspace.
Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in meal quality.
Monitor inventory and notify management of stock levels or shortages.
Manage food prep work, including chopping, slicing, and ingredient assembly.
Ensure that food allergens and dietary restrictions are considered in meal preparation.
Assist in the planning and preparation of weekly or monthly menus based on employee preferences and seasonal availability of ingredients.
Serve food in a timely manner and ensure that it meets both quality and safety standards.
Clean and sanitize kitchen appliances, counters, and work areas regularly.
Ensure proper storage of food to prevent contamination and waste.
Comply with all company policies, including those related to health and safety.
Assist with training new kitchen staff or other employees as required.
Maintain a positive and productive work environment.
