Job Title: Tandoor Commi 1
Department: Kitchen
Reporting To: Tandoor Chef / Sous Chef / Head Chef
Job Responsibilities:
Handle tandoor operations efficiently, including roti, naan, kulcha, and tandoori items.
Prepare and cook tandoori breads and marinated items as per standard recipes.
Ensure proper heating and maintenance of the tandoor.
Assist the Tandoor Chef in daily prep work and service.
Maintain hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards at the tandoor section.
Control portioning, minimize wastage, and follow kitchen SOPs.
Coordinate with kitchen staff during service hours for smooth operations.
Requirements:
Minimum 2–4 years experience in the tandoor section.
Good knowledge of Indian breads and tandoori cooking techniques.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
Awareness of food safety and hygiene standards.
Team player with a positive attitude.
