👨🍳 Chef Duties & Responsibilities
1. Cooking & Food Preparation
Prepare and cook Indian, Tandoor, and Chinese dishes.
Maintain consistency in recipes, taste, and portion size.
Ensure timely preparation and serving of fresh food.
2. Kitchen Management
Supervise and guide kitchen staff (commis, helpers, cleaners).
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of all kitchen equipment.
3. Quality & Hygiene
Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI norms if in India).
Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials.
4. Inventory & Cost Control
Plan daily raw material requirements.
Monitor stock, control wastage, and manage costs.
Work in a cost-effective manner without compromising quality.
