F&B – Box Bites & Cinemas Operations
Across Gopalan Cinemas & Box Bites Outlets
To lead food preparation and kitchen operations ensuring high-quality taste, hygiene, timely service, and customer satisfaction across Box Bites and Cinema outlets.
Prepare and cook menu items (snacks, fast food, beverages, popcorn, bakery items, etc.) as per approved recipes and standards.
Ensure consistent taste, portion control, and food presentation.
Monitor inventory, stock levels, and usage of raw materials to reduce wastage.
Maintain kitchen hygiene, sanitization & safety standards in compliance with FSSAI.
Coordinate with Store Keeper and Outlet Manager for timely stock replenishment.
Train and guide kitchen staff on food preparation, safety standards, and SOPs.
Maintain cleaning schedules for equipment, cooking area, storage, and utensils.
Ensure equipment is in good working condition and report maintenance needs.
Support menu enhancement, new dish trials, and customer-related improvements.
Handle peak hours efficiently with proper workflow and time management.
Strong knowledge of snacks, fast-food & cinema food menus, espresso/coffee preparation is an added advantage.
Expertise in hygiene & food safety standards.
Knowledge of inventory control & FIFO method.
Good team coordination and time management skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced and high-volume environments.
2–6 years of experience as Chef / Commis / Cook in F&B, QSR, Restaurants, Cafés, Food Courts, or Cinema Kitchens.
Candidates from KFC, McDonald's, Dominos, Pizza Hut, CCD, Multiplex F&B, or similar brands will be preferred.
