Commi 3/Prep Cook is a very crucial role in assisting the sr. cook for daily operations. The Prep cook are primarily responsible for preparing ingredients and stacking.
Primary Responsibilities:
Cut, chop, and clean vegetables and herbs as per chef’s instructions
Prepare cheese portions (cut mozzarella, grate parmesan, etc.)
Support mise-en-place by organizing trays, refilling ingredients, and backups
Assist with dough prep and storage
Help with staff meals when asked
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized station
Follow kitchen safety and food hygiene rules
